| How the Fund Describes Itself: Carver Cross Securities Corp. is an SEC-registered broker/dealer and NASD member firm. We raise equity and debt capital in the private markets pursuant to a formal mandate from our client. We advise companies and investors in the context of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate sales and joint ventures. We are advisors and placement agents; we do not make direct investments. We serve mid-sized and private companies on a global basis. Our senior executives have a minimum of two decades of experience, and every client assignment is conducted by one or more such senior executives. Carver Cross advises on the “mission critical†events in a company's corporate development. We have helped achieve the goals and solve the problems of a wide variety of U.S. and foreign corporations, shareholders, investors, and joint ventures. Carver Cross was founded in 1993 by Bruce Carver Jackson, a former senior executive of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., to deliver the financial-advisory services required to successfully design and complete privately negotiated transactions relating to: Ø corporate sales, divestitures, acquisitions, and leveraged buy-outs, Ø shareholder liquidity and ownership succession, Ø private placements of equity and debt securities, Ø joint ventures and strategic alliances, and Ø other strategic corporate-development and financing transactions. |
